Stitch Ease started as a side project to fix one recurring frustration: every knitting chart tool felt like it was built for a different decade. It's still small on purpose — one person, working carefully rather than shipping fast, testing with real designers before adding anything new.
No AI, anywhere in the app. Symbol placement, chart layout, even the upcoming photo tracing — it's all deterministic logic and pattern matching against a known symbol set, never a model trained on anyone's designs. Your charts are yours; nothing you draw is used to train anything.
